on our first day we had to set all the devices up as a group configering each device this ment using Midi cables to input into the synths and a Midi cable out of the drum machine to allow for clock sync so abalton can follow the timing that the drum machine is producing and relay it on to all the conected synths and arpegators then too get the cords/notes into the instraments we used a usb control surface (a midi piano) witch also took the role of an arpegator
