when capturing the live audio coming from the desk I decided the best way would be to use the built in recorder that captures to USB. I then set it to capture the 2 channel audio that would be feeding the audio into the inputs for the PA system.

For the cameras i used a bridge camera on a stand as an over shoulder shot of the desk sadly i couldn't get a stand tall enough to get a overhead shot that would show the desk better and for the second camera it was an iphone that pointed directly at me so when i am describing how something is done i can switch to me as i have always felt that when something needs explaining being able to see some body language helps with the explanation and this is also backed up by science

As for the mic I used the built in mic on the iphone as for a video it has clear audio that is already synced up and doesn't require too much prep other than making sure the room is quiet and that it's not placed on top of a device's fans.
